2 min readHappy Tuesday. I got the championship game right last night; it was always UConn by a good amount despite a strong fight from San Diego State in the middle of the second half. The Huskies won every tournament game by at least 13 points. For those wondering, the dominant Villanova team of 2018 won two games by 12 points on their way to a title, and their total margin of victory (+106) fell short of UConn’s +120 from this year. This was just an incredible run from a really good team that figured it out after some mid-season struggles. Props to San Diego State as well. That’s a great program, and they had a veteran team that made things happen in March.
The UConn win means I finished at -9.83 units on the full college season after going +21.02 in the postseason. The full season ended up swinging on the Nevada loss to Wyoming, which sunk a 10 unit parlay and killed the regular season. But we’ll take -9.83. That’s not bad. There were no NBA games last night, so onto the plays…
