Mike Bets – A Basketball Betting Blog

We’re still working out some kinks, but this is the start of my new feature blog where I share my daily basketball bets. Whenever there are games, I will have picks because here at Mike Bets we have a very simple motto – “Put money on everything”. For now, since it’s the first of these blogs, let’s get right to it. We’ll start adding some more depth to the opener as we get further along with these.
One big tip – Stay low on the first couple games. We can’t be sure how the games are going to be like in the bubble. I’m assuming it won’t be all that different, but it’s better to be safe than sorry early on.
My picks for tonight –
- Pelicans -2.0 (-110)
The Jazz are about to experience life without Bojan Bogdanovic, one of their key offensive players, for the first time this season. This is their first official game since the coronavirus rift that grew between Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell. Utah’s not in a good spot, and the Pelicans were one of the hottest teams in the league before the break. They win without too much difficulty even if Zion doesn’t go.
- Lakers -5.5 (-110)
The Clippers will be without Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, and potentially Patrick Beverley. Any depth advantage there is gone. The Lakers will be looking to prove a point in a relatively meaningless game. They get out an early lead and hold on to it.
- Parlay of the two
Multiply that money folks.
