Mike Bets #217
2 min readHappy Sunday. There’s snow on the ground outside right now, which means it is officially that time of year. It’s beginning to look a lot like another year without a playoff appearance for the Timberwolves. Let’s do a quick one today and go straight to the plays; I’ll have a weekend recap tomorrow.
TODAY’S PLAYS
NBA record: 46-33 ATS (6-9 Underdog ML), 10-11-1 O/U, 0-1 parlay
2-3 last night with a split on underdog MLs. Let’s get back in the green tonight.
- Bucks +105
The Bucks have been right on the league average line this year despite their injury issues. The Hawks have lost eight of nine during a tough run of opponents, and they rank around 22nd in most overall measures of team performance. Take the Bucks as underdogs.
- Suns -8.5
The Rockets haven’t won since October 22, and eight of those ten losses have come by at least 8 points. Take the Suns.
- Thunder +9
Let’s ride the hot hand here. The Nets didn’t cover against the Pelicans last time out, and the Thunder have won five of seven behind some really strong defensive performances. They can keep this one close.
- Bulls +150
The Clippers just played last night, and the Bulls will be looking to bounce back from a tough loss to the Warriors. I like the Clips a lot, but +145 is good value for a Bulls team that has been just as good so far.
CBB record: 18-24-1 ATS (0-2 Underdog ML)
4-2 yesterday. We’re getting there.
- Yale +11.5
- Florida State -1.5
- South Dakota +16.5
- South Dakota State -2
- Boston College -10
- Western Carolina +8.5
- St Bonaventure -20.5
- Vandy -7.5
- Western Kentucky +100
- Minnesota -2
