Happy Thursday. Yesterday was a slightly positive day. We went 6-5 on NBA plays and 5-5 on CBB plays. We’ll take it. Nothing wrong with making a tiny bit of money. I’ve got sixteen hours of driving and a busy weekend ahead over the next 72 hours, so we’ll be skipping the recaps for a few days. Let’s find some winners.

TODAY’S PLAYS

NBA record: 103-89-3 ATS, 22-30 ML, 35-34-1 O/U, 1-6 parlay, 0-1 props, -10.76 units

  • Bulls Pistons U236.5

This one is being played in Paris. Both teams are pretty erratic, so a spread play seems unwise. But I like the under. This is a decent chunk of points, and you’d have to think we see a flat start across the Atlantic.

  • Celtics -6.5

Boston might not have Jaylen Brown tonight, but that hasn’t been an issue for them. They’ve won three straight by double digits without him. Golden State is terrible on the road.

  • Timberwolves +5

I’ll take the points with Minnesota. The Raptors aren’t particularly good on the road, and Minnesota will come out hot after blowing one in Denver last night

  • Suns Nets O221

We won’t see KD or Booker in this one, but there should be enough offensive talent on the court (Kyrie is probable) to get the over across the line here.

  • Sixers -2

The Sixers are playing some great basketball right now. They can tie the Bucks for the 2 seed with a win against a struggling Blazers team.

  • Sixers Blazers U233.5

Neither team is particularly high scoring with both sitting in the 224-226 points per game range. give me the under.

CBB record: 102-89-2 ATS, 16-24 ML, 4-3 O/U, 7-6 parlay, +5.90 units

We’ll go speed round here…

  • UNC Wilmington +3.5
  • Purdue -13.5
  • Michigan ML (+125)
  • Illinois -6.5
  • USC +8
  • Utah -3
  • UCLA -5
  • Santa Clara -3
  • Oregon State +11.5
