Happy Friday. We’re back after a day off to recharge the basketball glasses. The board is clear once more. Let’s keep this one short and sweet to kick off the weekend. Tomorrow, I’ll recap the last few days before a big Saturday and Sunday and then we’ll go from there. Tonight, the MBAA makes another pilgrimage to Little Caesar’s Arena to watch the Pistons take on the Warriors. We’ll see if Detroit can knock off a Golden State team missing a ton of pieces. And with that, let’s find a few plays for tonight.

TODAY’S PLAYS

NBA record: 51-44 ATS (8-15 Underdog ML), 10-12-1 O/U, 0-1 parlay

We went 0-5 Wednesday to cap off a brutal run. The season numbers are still looking decent, but it’s time to run things around. Let’s do it.

  • Pistons +110

This is an obligatory bet that comes with having a ticket to the game, but I do think Detroit can take this one. Golden State without Steph and Draymond is a whole different thing, and the Pistons have been noticeably better recently.

  • Raptors +135

Toronto has lost three in a row as they’ve tried to work Pascal Siakam back into things. I like them to take advantage of a reeling Kings team and break the streak with a strong performance.

  • Bulls +100

The Nuggets played yesterday, and the Bulls will be out for blood after letting a big lead slip in Portland. I like Chicago here.

CBB record: 28-39-1 ATS (1-6 Underdog ML)

  • Michigan -12.5

I like Michigan to bounce back in a big way against UNLV. The shots will fall, the paint won’t be quite as clogged, and there’s less pressure now that the first loss as a top team is out of the way.
