Mike Bets #375

2 min read

Happy Monday. We’re back after a weekend off, and the momentum is still here after a 5-2 Friday. The winners are flowing. Today is a big day – college basketball is back. It’s time for Mike Bets to diversify to a two league approach. Let’s get after it. I will hopefully catch up on some past games and team summaries tomorrow, but we’re going quick tonight.

TODAY’S PLAYS

NBA record: 28-19 ATS, 5-5 ML, 2-3 O/U, 0-0 parlay, 0-1 props, +5.12 units

  • Wizards ML (+115)

The Wizards aren’t exactly lighting the world on fire, but the Hornets have lost six of seven with their one win coming in overtime. Taking Washington at plus odds is a good bet.

  • Thunder -1.5

After consecutive losses to the Nuggets and Bucks, the Thunder are getting outscored by 1.6 points per 100 possessions. The Pistons are getting outscored by a league-worst 11.3 points per 100. Take OKC. This is a really small line.

  • Suns -2.5

The Suns have been the best team in the West, and the Sixers have been pretty blah and, in an admittedly small sample size, are 0-1 without James Harden. This is a small line. Take Phoenix.

  • Bucks -4

There’s no reason to do anything other than betting on the Bucks right now.

  • Kings +8

By most metrics, the Kings have been rather significantly better than the Warriors so far. This is a huge line. I like Sacramento to cover.

CBB record: 0-0 ATS, 0-0 ML, 0-0 parlay

  • Michigan -15.5
  • Iona -6.5
  • Pittsburgh -8.5
  • Morehead State +23
  • Ohio +6
  • Murray State +13.5
