Happy Saturday. Yesterday was a 3-1 CBB day. We’ll take that every day of the week. We’re a little more than four units up on the week so far. Let’s keep that momentum going this weekend. But first, a (very) quick look at yesterday’s action.

NBA

No games (All-Star break).

CBB

  • Kent State is 12-2 in MAC play after rolling past Eastern Michigan. Toledo can tie them for the conference lead with a win over Bowling Green today.
  • Princeton has a one-game lead at the top of the Ivy after beating Brown and seeing Yale lose to Penn.
  • Iona beat Manhattan, Rider lost to Canisius, and Siena lost to Quinnipiac. That puts Iona all alone atop the MAAC with five games to go. Included in that five game stretch – a home game against third-place Siena (one and a half back with an extra game played) and a trip to second-place Rider (one back).
  • New Mexico ended a two-game slide with a much-needed win over San Jose State. They’re firmly on the bubble. Their next two games – @ Boise State, vs. San Diego State – are absolutely massive.
